Who we are
Admiral Security Systems Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides fire and security solutions (design, installation, maintenance, monitoring). We are the data controller for personal data collected via our website and during our business operations.

Personal data we collect

  • Enquiry form: name, email/phone, company, message.
  • Email applications: CV/resumé, cover letter, work history, referees.
  • Operational communications: emails/phone records relating to quotes, installs, maintenance.
  • Cookies/analytics: usage data (see Cookie Notice).
  • Payment information: processed by Stripe (we don’t store card details).

How we use your data & lawful bases (UK GDPR)

  • Respond to enquiries, provide quotes, fulfil contracts (Contract / Legitimate interests).
  • Schedule works, manage projects, and provide customer service (Contract).
  • Manage accounts, invoicing, and payments (Contract / Legal obligation).
  • Recruitment (screening, interviewing, right-to-work checks) (Legitimate interests / Legal obligation).
  • Improve our site and services (usage analytics) (Legitimate interests / Consent for non-essential cookies).
  • Send service notices; marketing only with Consent (you can opt out anytime).

Sharing your data (processors & partners)

  • SimPro (CRM): job management and customer records (processor).
  • Stripe (payments): payment processing (independent controller/processor per their terms).
  • Southern Monitoring: alarm/event monitoring for your system. Recording/storage is on your premises or your provider’s; Admiral does not access client CCTV recordings.
  • IT/support and website hosting providers as needed. We require appropriate contracts and safeguards with all processors.

International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where this occurs, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or UK IDTA/Standard Contractual Clauses with additional safeguards.

Retention

  • Enquiries: typically, up to 24 months after last contact.
  • Customer/contract records: generally, 6–7 years (tax/contract).
  • Recruitment: unsuccessful candidates typically 6 months (longer if consented).
  • We delete or anonymise data when no longer needed.

Your rights
You can access, correct, delete, restrict, object, and port your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time (where used). To exercise rights, email info@adm-bak.e-innovate.dev. You can also complain to the UK ICO (ico.org.uk).

Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, and staff training.

Website domain update
We are transitioning our primary website from admiralsecurity.co.uk to adm-bak.e-innovate.dev. Both domains are operated by Admiral Security Ltd. Our privacy commitments remain unchanged.
